BACKROAD DISCOVERY TOURS

Backroad Discovery Tours® is a local, guided tour service based in Manchester, Vermont. (The Shires of Vermont). The tours are designed for people who only have a day or two and wish to explore the region's best-kept secrets!   We offer Southern Vermont Sampler tours,   Revolutionary & Civil War tours,  Vermont Fall Foliage tours,  early spring Vermont Maple Sugaring tours.

You will get off the beaten path in an 8-passenger customized tour vehicle (individual bucket seats). On warm, sunny days, we use a 6-passenger semi-open air vehicle. You will discover Vermont's history, beauty, local lore, & fun facts. You will "Experience" the real Vermont!   Backroad Discovery excursions offer wonderful insight into what makes Vermont the perfect, "State of Mind"!  (Group size is limited to 6-8 passengers.)

All tours are $30pp. Advance reservations are necessary.

"Southern VT Sampler" Tours...... Daily in Spring, Summer & late Fall.....1:00PM - 4:00PM.

"Vermont Fall Foliage" Tours...... Daily in Fall...... 1:00PM - 4:00PM

"Revolutionary War" Tour..... Spring, Summer & Fall;   9:30-11:45AM

" Maple Sugaring" Tours....early March; Call or email for details

Custom tours for corporate outings, clubs, family gatherings & special interest groups are available upon request. Step-on and receptive service for buses is also provided.
